PLATFORM IDENTITY

ScrapKabadi.com is a digital interface designed to connect individuals, businesses, and communities with independently operating scrap handlers. We do not directly engage in the purchase, storage, resale, or transportation of scrap materials. All interactions facilitated via the platform are voluntarily conducted between customers and third-party service handlers.

BUSINESS MODEL (GST & TAX SAFE)

• Platform revenue is derived from voluntary service usage charges or facilitation tokens shared by handlers.
• ScrapKabadi neither charges customers nor dictates scrap value.
• No GST is applicable on platform unless total commission crosses ₹20,00,000/year.
• No invoice is generated for scrap sales; our invoices (if issued) are for digital facilitation only.
• As per GST Circular No. 11/11/2017-GST and IT Act Section 79, we are legally classified as a digital service aggregator and not a dealer.

SCRAP PICKUP & DONATION POLICY

• All pickups are executed by independently verified vendors.
• ScrapKabadi does not provide any physical transport, weighing tools, or field staff.
• Free pickups or voluntary scrap donations are processed with no financial claim.
• In donation cases: 30% value goes toward environmental/social purpose and 70% covers logistics, labor, and processing.
• We issue donation receipts only on pre-qualified social pickups (CSR compliant).

RESPONSIBILITY & RISK

• ScrapKabadi is not responsible for on-ground misbehavior, under-weighing, fraud, or incorrect evaluation by any vendor.
• All field operators are independent. In case of dispute, customer must directly resolve the issue with the handler.
• Vendor misconduct results in instant blacklisting, but legal responsibility remains individual.
• ScrapKabadi’s role ends at connecting verified parties and does not extend into their physical transactions.

CUSTOMER SAFETY TERMS

• Customers are advised to validate the identity of pickup handlers.
• Platform does not guarantee material rates, weights, or condition checks.
• All engagements are final and irreversible once physical handover is complete.
• We do not issue quotes, price charts, or material invoices.
• Support team may assist with vendor coordination but does not mediate legal issues.

VENDOR AGREEMENT SNAPSHOT

• You (vendor) confirm that all services delivered to customers are based on honesty, fair weighing, and timely pickup.
• Platform provides verified customer leads for a voluntary service token post-completion.
• Vendor carries valid ID and platform QR verification while visiting any customer.
• Any fraud, weight manipulation, or misrepresentation may lead to blacklisting and permanent suspension.
• You agree that all legal risks or complaints fall under your individual capacity and not ScrapKabadi as a company.

GOVERNMENT & COMPLIANCE SAFE STRUCTURE

• We are not a registered scrap trading house.
• No resale, storage, or inventory is handled or recorded.
• All interactions are point-to-point with no intermediary transaction layer.
• No product ownership transfer occurs at any stage via ScrapKabadi.
• Donation materials are routed to licensed recyclers under E-Waste Rules, 2022 and SWM Rules, 2016.
• We are not eligible for trade license or scrap dealer obligations under current operational format.

INVOICE / RECEIPT CLAUSE

• Customers do not receive a payment invoice for scrap value as no purchase occurs.
• Vendors may provide receipts directly if necessary.
• Any payment receipts from ScrapKabadi will be titled “Platform Access Fee” or Digital Service Token.
• We do not raise GST invoices unless revenue threshold is officially crossed.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
